“The Next Chapter” Chavurah Social Gathering
October 27 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Hosted by Lori and Steve Wolff, join “The Next Chapter” for a walking tour of the Historic Evergreen Cemetery. Gene Forsheim, who leads the tour for Historic Everett, will take us to the final resting place of some of the area’s most influential residents. We will uncover new and interesting stories, sure to engage and educate you, about several Washington governors, key architects of Everett’s historic buildings, and early Everett business men. We will also see some of the amazing State Centennial Trees.
Gene is also the author of Mill Town Boy, a story about his father and Everett history.
A $5.00 donation is requested.
Following the tour you are welcome to continue the day with lunch at Curries in Everett (7318 Evergreen Way, 425-265-1200). The restaurant has a lunch buffet that costs $10.99. The lunch buffet always has at least 2 vegetarian entrees.
Please RSVP by email to Lori Wolff (email@example.com).
The Next Chapter is a chavurah (from the word chaver which means friendship) for adults seeking to form a social community with others who are at the same stage of life, experiencing a home without children, and for people looking to build a friendship community with others that don’t have young or teenage children at home. The group will come together monthly to learn, socialize, and have fun.
