Apple Cake


  • 8 – 10 apples, any variety
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 T cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ c oil
  • 1 ½ c sugar
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 t baking powder


  1. Peel and slice the apples. Combine the sugar and cinnamon, and mix into the apple slices until the apple slices are well coated.

  2. Lightly grease a baking pan and place the apple slices in the bottom of the pan in a single layer.

  3. Combine the dough ingredients and pat the dough over apples. Bake in a 350 degree oven until the dough forms a brown crust.
